Secret Swiss Military Fort

Have you ever noticed the enigmatic openings that dot the face of the Famelon rock, located about 400 meters below the summit of the eponymous tower?

This is Fort Famelon, a former military structure strategically positioned halfway between Leysin and Les Mosses, and now open to visitors. Allan invites you on an underground adventure that will immerse you in the history of the Swiss army, culminating in a breathtaking panoramic view of the Vaud Alps.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This military fort, dating back to the Second World War, extends over approximately 300 meters of corridors and offers nearly 400 square meters of space spread across three floors.

During your visit, various activities are offered, including team-building exercises, stag nights, sleeping indoors or outdoors, school/club events and a bbq space is available and a toilet.
